Rowerdennan Whisky & Walks And Whisky Campaign

Rowerdennan Distillery is a fictional eco-friendly distillery. Each whisky produced in the Walks and Whisky Collection is inspired by a hiking/walking location in and around Loch Lomond and The Trossachs, with their flavours inspired by plants that naturally grow in each area. The Walks and Whisky Collection is a series of Whisky and campaign aiming to highlight the complex story of alcohol’s role in Scotland today, specifically the increase in alcohol consumption over lockdown.

Walks and Whisky is an app accessed by a QR code on the whisky bottle. The hiking/walking trails are unlocked using coordinate points incorporated into the bottle design. The packaging is also aligned with the company’s values. The boot imprint protective casing is made from plantable material mixed with wildflower seeds that grow in the bottle’s corresponding location meaning they can be planted on your walk whilst benefiting the natural landscape.
